there is a deep history of conflict and misunderstanding between communities,
and political wins alone are not enough to sustain meaningful healing and connection.
Without an abundance of spaces for meaningful healing and relationship (this lack of healing spaces is what we call "Healing Deserts"),
the cycle of harm continues.
